Safe Pro AI's Humanitarian Innovation Recognized by UN World Food Programme

Safe Pro Group Inc., through its subsidiary Safe Pro AI, has been acknowledged for its innovative contribution to humanitarian efforts by being named a finalist in the United Nations World Food Programme's Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator Innovation Weeks. This recognition comes from a pool of 579 global submissions, with Safe Pro AI's project focusing on the detection of landmines in Ukrainian agricultural fields using AI technology. The project stands out as the only U.S.-based AI solution selected, competing for up to $150,000 in funding and a spot in a 12-month accelerator cohort.

The SPOTD platform developed by Safe Pro utilizes drone imagery and proprietary AI to identify over 150 types of threats, having already analyzed more than 1.66 million images across 6,705 hectares in Ukraine. This not only demonstrates Safe Pro's commitment to advancing security and defense solutions but also its role in supporting humanitarian demining efforts and improving global food security. The technology offers a scalable, real-time solution to a pressing issue in conflict-affected regions, where landmines significantly threaten agriculture and civilian safety.
