CAVA, a Mediterranean restaurant chain, is taking a significant step towards nurturing future talent in the hospitality industry by sponsoring the First Annual Golf Invitational & Wine Tasting. Scheduled for April 29, 2024, at The Crossvines in Poolesville, MD, this event is designed to raise scholarship funds for Montgomery County Public School students with an interest in hospitality management careers.
Ted Xenohristos, CAVA's Founder and Chief Concept Officer, shared his personal connection to the cause, stating, 'I'm a product of Montgomery County Public Schools, so I'm especially thrilled about supporting students' enthusiasm for hospitality.' The event will not only benefit from the participation of around twenty student volunteers from local high schools but also provide them with hands-on experience in event management, from setup to food preparation and serving.

For those less inclined towards golf, The Crossvines offers a celebration of local viticulture with Wine Tasting & Tour tickets, providing guests with an insight into every stage of winemaking on the beautiful grounds, with two tour times at 10 a.m. and Noon.
